How secure is a smart lock really?

Our smart locks are equipped with the latest encryption and authentication technology and meet the highest security standards – developed in Austria, GDPR-compliant, and tested for your home.

What happens if I lose my smartphone?

That's no problem. You can also open your door using a PIN, fingerprint, or RFID card. You can also easily remove lost devices from the app.

As soon as you log in to the new smartphone with your username, the app on the old smartphone will be unusable.

Is the system also suitable for rental apartments?

Yes. Our smart locks can be retrofitted without drilling and removed without leaving any residue—perfect for rental properties or if you move later.

Can I also give my child or grandparents access?

Yes. You can create individual access profiles – via app, card, or PIN. This way, everyone has their own personal access, without the need for a key.

With the ELCON Wi-Fi Bridge you can also open and lock the door remotely.

Can I grant temporary access, e.g. for guests or tradesmen?

Yes. You can easily create time-limited access codes—ideal for friends, babysitters, or deliveries, even when you're not home.
