Which doors is the EL20 suitable for?

The cylinder fits over 90% of all European standard doors with profile cylinders. It's ideal for apartment and front doors, but also for offices, storage, or service rooms.

Will the EL20 fit my door?

Yes! Thanks to adjustable lengths in 5 mm increments, the cylinder can be individually adapted to your door thickness. Installation is tool-free and leaves no residue.

How long does the battery last?

The included CR123A batteries last up to 12 months, depending on usage. The app notifies you in advance when a battery change is necessary.

How does the app work?

With the free SmartAccess app for iOS & Android, you can assign, manage, and log access rights. All access can be controlled in real time – directly from your smartphone.

Can the cylinder be reused if I move or change doors?

Yes. The smart door lock can be removed and reinstalled on another door at any time – ideal for rental properties or changing locations.

How secure is the EL20 digital cylinder?

Extremely secure. The EL20 uses modern AES 128-bit encryption, comparable to the security standard used in online banking. Access rights are individually controllable, and all actions are logged in compliance with GDPR.

Can I share the cylinder with family or employees?

Absolutely. You can add as many users as you like and assign individual permissions – for example, permanently, only on weekdays, or for a specific period of time. Ideal for families, landlords, cleaning staff, or tradespeople.

How long is the warranty?

Every product comes with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty. This warranty does not cover damage caused by failure to charge the battery in a timely manner, vandalism, or resetting.
