Can I create a separate access code for each booking?

Yes. You can generate up to 150 unique access codes per door lock. The codes are time-limited and expire after checkout.

Does the system also work if I rent out multiple properties?

Absolutely. With the ELCON app, you can centrally manage multiple doors and locations – ideal for operators of apartments, holiday homes, or hotels.

Can I manage multiple people at the same time?

Yes. You can assign as many digital keys as you like—permanently or temporarily, depending on your needs.

What if guests share the code?

You maintain an overview of all accesses at all times. Time-limited access and logs minimize misuse – and you can deactivate codes immediately if necessary.

Can cleaning staff or service partners also have access?

Yes. You can assign any number of people individual or reusable access rights—for example, weekly, daily, or only for specific time slots.

Is the system compatible with platforms such as Airbnb or Booking.com?

Our smart locks can be used independently of your booking platform. You simply generate the appropriate access code and send it to your guests manually or automatically.

Of course, this process can also be automated, for example with a channel manager.

Is this legally and data protection-wise secure?

Yes. Our systems meet all GDPR requirements. Data is stored exclusively on European servers – securely encrypted and transparently managed.
